The Desktop DDR4 Memory Tester (VER 4.2) is a dedicated diagnostic card designed exclusively for testing DDR4 desktop memory modules (RAM sticks). Operating on a dedicated MSI Z370 motherboard test platform, it tests memory sticks in seconds to determine whether they are functional and uses 16 on-board LEDs to directly indicate which specific memory chip is defective.
Accurate Purpose & Functions
DDR4 Memory Stick Testing: Quickly tests DDR4 desktop RAM modules to determine whether the memory stick is functional or faulty within seconds.
Bad Chip Pinpoint Indication: 16 individual SMD LED indicators correspond directly to memory chip positions across Side A (A1–A8) and Side B (B1–B8). When a memory stick fails, the corresponding LED illuminates in red to pinpoint the exact defective DRAM particle.
Direct Repair Assistance: Enables technicians to identify and replace only the faulty DRAM chip on the memory module rather than discarding the entire stick.
Digital Status Display: Two-digit 7-segment LED display indicates test running status.

Platform Dedicated: This test card is specifically made for the Z370 platform and is not cross-compatible with Z170 or Z270 test platforms.
Important Operational Notes (What It Does Not Do)
RAM Tester Only: This card is strictly for testing DDR4 RAM sticks. It does not test motherboard faults, graphics cards, or other system components.
Requires Host Platform: This card cannot operate independently; it must be connected to the specified MSI Z370 test rig.
No SPD Programming: This card does not program or modify memory SPD / EEPROM data; it is strictly a hardware diagnostic test card.
