HMT-2075 HuiMinTong Desoldering Wick – Undo Soldering Mistakes Without Damaging the Board
Too much solder, a bridge between pins, or a component that needs to come off – every repair job eventually needs solder removed. HMT-2075 desoldering wick is the fastest way to do it: touch the braided copper to the molten joint and the solder climbs into the braid, leaving the pad clean and dry in seconds. It is the tool that turns messy rework into a controlled, repeatable process.
Why You'll Reach for It on Every Rework
- Quick solder pickup – dense copper braid wicks molten solder away from pads, pins, and through-holes with minimal heat time
- Flux-treated braid – built-in flux helps heat transfer along the braid, so solder flows into it evenly and fast
- Braid stays flat – the woven structure holds its shape under the iron tip and conforms to pads for full contact
- Protects the board – removing excess solder in seconds reduces heat stress on traces, pads, and nearby components
- Low cost per repair – simply trim away the used section and keep going with fresh braid
Pack Sizes for Every Bench
- 1 roll – easy starter or replacement roll
- 5 rolls – convenient value for a busy repair bench
- 10 rolls – bulk supply for workshops and production lines
How to Use
- Place the wick over the joint or pad with excess solder.
- Press your soldering iron tip against the wick directly over the solder.
- Hold briefly – the molten solder is drawn up into the braid.
- Remove the iron and wick together, then cut off the saturated section.
- Wipe the tip, inspect the pad, and re-solder if needed.

Who It's For
An everyday consumable for phone and laptop repair technicians, PCB rework stations, and electronics hobbyists. Pair it with your soldering iron and flux, and even stubborn joints come apart cleanly.
Tip: add a touch of fresh flux to a stubborn joint before wicking – it speeds up heat transfer and helps the braid pull the last of the solder out.
